Buffseeds Information

Buffseeds were a four piece band from Exeter, Devon. Formed by Kieran Scragg (vocals, guitar) he recruited his cousin Joel Scragg (bass), Neil Reed (keys) and Ella Lewis (drums) and set about recording their debut material in 2002.

The band worked on the recording of their debut album "The Picture Show" with various producers including Ian Caple, Michael Brauer and Chris Sheldon. The album was released to much critical acclaim in 2003, with Kieran Scragg being compared to a young Robert Wyatt by Mojo Magazine.

Buffseeds' song "Sparkle Me" has appeared in US TV dramas Grey Anatomy and One Tree Hill.

Buffseeds toured UK and Europe, including dates supporting Muse and JJ72. They also made appearances at Glastonbury and CMJ in New York.

Kieran Scragg and Neil Reed are currently in a band called Iko.
